Why does this agent change nothing?
It is a reading tool. It holds read rights on the contract store and no write rights anywhere, so there is nothing to approve. Drafting and routing live in separate agents, each with its own gate.
How does it handle amendments and superseded versions?
It follows the convention you set during the co-build and shows the version it quoted along with its date. Where it cannot tell which version is current, it shows both rather than picking one.
Can it answer questions about contracts we have not signed yet?
It can search drafts if you connect the folder they sit in, and it labels them as drafts. Most teams keep drafts out, so an answer never quotes wording that was never agreed.
Can we rely on this as advice?
No. It retrieves the wording your organisation agreed and shows you where it sits. What that wording means for a particular dispute, deal or regulator is a question for a qualified lawyer.
