Agent

Internal & external comms

Internal and external comms keeps the reporting rhythm going between quarters. It watches the specific sites and sources you name, gathers portfolio and market movements as they happen, and drafts the version each audience should read, since what the LPs receive is not what the investment team needs. The IR lead approves every draft before it is sent.

How it runs

Step by step

01

Name the sources to watch

You list the portfolio sites, publications and pages worth monitoring. The agent watches those and ignores the rest of the web.

02

Collect what actually changed

Movements are logged as they appear, each with a link and a date, so nothing rests on somebody remembering it later.

03

Pull the internal updates in

Portfolio notes and board material already in Notion, Drive or your Slack channels are gathered alongside the external picture.

04

Sort each item by audience

The same event is sorted into the LP view, the internal view and the founder-network view, because each audience is owed a different level of detail.

05

Draft the newsletter per audience

A draft is written per audience in your own voice and format, with sources attached to each item.

06

IR lead approves before sending

The drafts wait for the IR lead. Nothing is sent, published or shared until a person has approved that specific version.

The harness

Exactly what this agent can see, touch and change

The same five controls sit behind every ollo agent. These are this one's settings — visible before you build it, not buried in an admin screen afterwards.

Context

What reaches the model

IR and platform teams carrying a reporting calendar alongside everything else, and small funds where the update slips because nobody owns the first draft.

Verification

How you know it’s right

Every claim links to the document it came from. A statement the agent cannot cite does not make it into the output — which is what makes the result reviewable in minutes rather than re-read end to end.

Who it’s for

IR and platform teams carrying a reporting calendar alongside everything else, and small funds where the update slips because nobody owns the first draft.

What you’ll need

  • Monitoring list agreed
  • Portfolio notes connected
  • Audience segments defined
  • IR lead named as approver

What you get

  • A dated log of portfolio and market moves
  • A draft newsletter per audience
  • A source list behind every item

What it doesn’t do

It drafts and it monitors. It does not send to an LP list on its own, and it will not make a forward-looking statement about a portfolio company that has no source behind it.

How you get it

We build the first one with you

Not a template you configure alone. We sit with your team, build it on real data, and hand over the controls.

01

Scope

One session with the people who actually do the work. We agree what the agent reads, what it may write, and who approves.

02

Co-build

Built on your own data, not a sandbox. You watch it being made, so you know why it behaves the way it does.

03

Handover

You own the controls. Change the context, tighten the rights, move the approval gate — without coming back to us.

What it replaces

Parts of the work currently spread across the categories below. It does not replace any of those products outright.

Frequently asked

Can it send the LP update itself?

No, and that is deliberate. It prepares the draft in your mail system and stops. Sending to investors is a decision with regulatory weight, so it stays with the IR lead who signs it off.

How do we stop a rumour ending up in an LP letter?

Only the sources you named are watched, and every item in a draft carries the link it came from. Items the agent could not corroborate are held in the internal log rather than written into an external draft.

Does the internal version differ from the LP version?

Yes. The same underlying log is written up differently per audience, using the level of detail you set for each. That is why the audience segments are agreed before the agent goes live.

What if a portfolio company asks us not to mention something?

Add it to the exclusion list in the agent's controls and it stops appearing in drafts. Your team maintains that list directly after handover, so a founder request can be honoured the same day.
