Every factual statement links to the document and page it came from, so a reader can open the underlying schedule while reading the paragraph. Where the agent could not find support for a point the deal team wanted covered, it says the point is unsupported rather than writing around it.
What does it do with scanned or badly formatted documents?
It indexes them and reads them alongside everything else. Where the text is unclear it marks the extract as low confidence and points to the page, so an associate can check the original rather than trust a bad read.
Does the gap list go to the counterparty?
Only if your team sends it. The agent produces the list inside your own folder and stops there. Nothing is sent outside the fund without a person doing the sending.
