Methodology & framework finder

Methodology and framework finder puts the firm's intellectual property in front of the team using it. A consultant describes the problem, and the agent returns the frameworks and tools your firm already owns, along with the engagements where each was used and how it was adapted. It ends with a short framework pack that the engagement manager approves into the working folder.

How it runs

Step by step

01

State the delivery problem

The consultant describes the situation in the client's terms rather than searching for a framework by name.

02

Match against the method library

The agent searches the firm's methodology library in Confluence, Notion or SharePoint for methods that fit the problem type.

03

Show prior use in practice

Each method comes with the engagements that used it and a note on how it was adapted for that client.

04

Surface the supporting tools

Templates, models and data-collection instruments attached to the method are listed with links, not just described.

05

Assemble the framework pack

The chosen methods, tools and examples are pulled into one short pack for the engagement team.

06

Manager approves the pack

The engagement manager checks that the methods suit this client before the pack is added to the engagement folder.

The harness

Exactly what this agent can see, touch and change

The same five controls sit behind every Askollo agent. These are this one's settings — visible before you build it, not buried in an admin screen afterwards.

Context

What reaches the model

Firms with a real methodology library that nobody reads, and delivery teams staffed across practices who cannot be expected to know every method the firm owns.

Verification

How you know it’s right

Every claim links to the document it came from. A statement the agent cannot cite does not make it into the output — which is what makes the result reviewable in minutes rather than re-read end to end.

Who it’s for

Firms with a real methodology library that nobody reads, and delivery teams staffed across practices who cannot be expected to know every method the firm owns.

What you’ll need

  • Methodology library connected
  • Method owners identified
  • Retired methods marked as retired
  • Engagement manager to approve

What you get

  • A shortlist of fitting methods
  • Links to templates and tools
  • Examples of prior adaptation

What it doesn’t do

It points to the firm's methods and shows how they were used before. It does not judge whether a framework suits this client's situation, and it will not invent a method the firm does not have.

How you get it

We build the first one with you

Not a template you configure alone. We sit with your team, build it on real data, and hand over the controls.

01

Scope

One session with the people who actually do the work. We agree what the agent reads, what it may write, and who approves.

02

Co-build

Built on your own data, not a sandbox. You watch it being made, so you know why it behaves the way it does.

03

Handover

You own the controls. Change the context, tighten the rights, move the approval gate — without coming back to us.

What it replaces

Parts of the work currently spread across the categories below. It does not replace any of those products outright.

Frequently asked

What stops it recommending a retired method?

Retired methods are marked as retired in the library during the co-build, and the agent shows that status in the result rather than filtering it away. Sometimes the retired version is what a legacy client is still running, and the team needs to know it exists.

Can it adapt a framework for us?

It shows how the framework was adapted on prior engagements and can draft a version of a template for a new context. Deciding that the adaptation is sound is the manager's call, which is why the pack is approved before it enters the engagement folder.

Our methods live in slide decks. Does that matter?

No. Decks, documents and wiki pages are all read the same way, and the agent links to the original slide rather than reproducing it. Most firms keep methods in decks, so that is the normal case.

Who keeps the library current after handover?

Your method owners. The agent surfaces what exists and flags where a method has no owner or no recent use, but curation stays with the practice. We hand over the controls so those flags go to the right people.
